Eligibility

Criteria You Must Meet For This Program

Candidate Must have a bachelor’s degree or Higher in Chemistry, Biology, Medical Technology or Laboratory Science from an accredited national program or institution.

Must be certified or in the process of being certified to be a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)

Educational Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field from and accredited institution.
  • Proof of completion of an accredited clinical internship or equivalent practical experience
Professional Certification:
  • Must possess relevant professional certifications, such as ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or an equivalent certification
State Licensure:
  • Willingness and ability to obtain state licensure, if not already licensed, in the state where employment is offered
Cultural Adaptability:
  • A commitment to adapting to the culture and work environment in the United States
Professional Development:
  • A dedication to continuous professional development and a strong work ethic

Academic Qualifications:
  • Copies of all relevant educational transcripts and diplomas, including a bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field from an accredited institution
Professional Certifications:
  • Proof of current professional certifications, such as ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent certification
Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume:
  • A comprehensive CV or resume detailing your professional experience, qualifications, and achievements
Passport and Visa Documents:
  • A valid passport with at least six months’ validity beyond your intended entry date into the United States
Professional References:
  • Letters of recommendation or contact information for professional references who can vouch for your qualifications and work ethic
Health Records:
  • Recent health records and immunization documentation, including any required vaccinations
Background Check:
  • A background check report, certifying your eligibility to work in a healthcare setting in the United States
Passport-Sized Photographs:
  • Passport-sized photographs, as required for visa applications and identification

Other Available Programs

Full-Time Post Secondary Students

This program is for full-time students in good standing at a post-secondary academic institution outside of the U.S. to access Summer or other short-term employment in the U.S.

Culinary Arts, Tourism, Hospitality or Events Related Students

The J-1 Visa is part of the Bridge USA Program that allows foreign students to bridge the gap between formal education and practical work experience via on the job training in the U.S.

Foreign Registered Nurses

For registered nurses outside the the U.S. interested in working as a Registered Nurse in the U.S. Healthcare System. Must meet all their national nursing certification requirements along with the NCLEX-RN in the U.S.A.
